Because food trailers are high-value and often custom-built, this policy explains how deposits, cancellations, returns and refunds are handled. Specific terms for your order are confirmed in your written agreement.
Deposits & cancellations
- A deposit may be required to reserve a trailer or begin a custom build.
- Deposits on custom or made-to-order builds may be non-refundable once production or material ordering has begun, as work and materials are committed specifically to your order.
- If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible - we’ll explain what portion, if any, can be refunded based on the stage of your order.
Custom builds
Custom and equipped trailers are built to your specifications and are generally not returnable. Please review your layout, options and specifications carefully before approving your build.
Ready-to-go trailers
For in-stock, non-customized trailers, return eligibility (if any) and any applicable restocking or transport costs will be set out in your order documentation. Trailers must be unused and in original condition to be considered.
Equipment & appliances
Standalone equipment and appliances may be covered by the manufacturer’s return and warranty terms. We’ll help you coordinate with the manufacturer where applicable.
Damage in transit
Inspect your trailer on delivery. If there is transport-related damage, document it immediately and contact us so we can help resolve it with the carrier.
How to request a refund
To discuss a cancellation or refund, email info@wanderfoodtrailers.com with your order details. We aim to respond within one business day.
